The mission of our Summer Day Camp Program is to give each participant the opportunity to grow in the Orthodox faith and enjoy relationships with others through guided joy-filled experiences.  

This year’s theme is “Women of the Bible.”

Campers are assigned to groups according to their ages (by Sept 1, 2024) as follows:

·         Pre-K Camp: 3 & 4 year olds (limit 12 - must be potty-trained)

·         KinderCamp: 5 & 6 year olds (limit 20)

·         Group 1: 7 & 8 year olds

·         Group 2: 9 & 10 year olds 

·         Group 3: 11 & 12 year olds 

·         Adventure Camp: 13 & 14 year olds

General Information

Enrollment is limited, so please register early. Registration is open until spaces are filled.

Camp consists of 2 one week sessions. Campers may attend Week 1, Week 2, or both weeks.

Each week includes Orthodox Life, Athletics, Dance, Arts & Crafts and an offsite Field Trip for Group 1, Group 2, Group 3 & Adventure Camp.  PreK & KinderCamp will only have an onsite Field Trip.  *Adventure Camp does have one additional offsite Field Trip each week.

Non-pledged members and non-Cathedral members will be charged $30.00 more per camper, per week.

Registration fee includes field trips (onsite and offsite), and a camp t-shirt.  

Time

Camp begins promptly at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m.

*Before and After Care are an option.  The times and fees are arranged directly by parents with our staff who are available.   If you are interested, send your child’s name as well as days and times needed, to SundaySchool@atlgoc.org  A list of available staff will be provided to you mid-April.

Dress Code

Tennis shoes, t-shirts and shorts are required dress. All clothing and personal items (bags and/or backpacks) must have your child’s name on them.

What to Bring

Each camper must bring a sack lunch every day.  Drinks for lunch and snack time, as well as a healthy snack in the afternoon, will be provided by the camp each day. 

*PreK and KinderCamp Campers need a large towel for rest time and a change of clothes (both will be left at camp).  PreK & KinderCamp also need a bathing suit and towel to be used at kiddie pools onsite.  All items must be labeled with the camper’s name.

CDC Guidelines

Campers will have their temperatures checked as they arrive each morning, and currently they will be required to wear a mask or appropriate face covering when participating in indoor activities.  *This policy will be explained in more detail in your Family Camp Letter which will be sent out May 1st.

REFUNDS/CHANGING WEEKS

 Refunds:

  • 100% refund by March 31st

  • 50% refund by April 30th

  • No refunds after April 30th.

 Change of Weeks:

  • $30 per camper
