GREEK SCHOOL
AFTERNOON GREEK SCHOOL

Enrollment: 4 Years old through 5th grade. must be 4 years of age by September 1st of enrollment year.
Tuition: Available upon request.
Purpose: To learn basics of Greek language and to communicate in Greek, while developing and cultivating awareness of the Hellenic culture and heritage in an Orthodox Christian environment.
SUNDAY (CATECHETICAL) SCHOOL

Enrollment: 4 Years old to 12th grade – must be 4 years of age by September 1st of enrollment year.
Classes are held: August through May. Faculty and staff attend seminars and monthly meetings.
Tuition: $20.00 per family.
Purpose: To instruct our children in the beliefs and tenets of the Holy Orthodox Christian faith, and cultivate the Orthodox Christian way of life within them.
Activities: Each class has special projects, however the entire school participates in the Oratorical/Sights & Sounds Festival; Dedication Day, Community Breakfast on Saturday of Lazarus with palm cross preparation; Christmas pageant; Godparent Sunday; and many other programs throughout the year. Registration begins in June and continues throughout the school year.
ADULT RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CLASSES

Participation open to: All adults and young adults are invited to attend.
Classes are held: As part of our Wednesday Nite Life series, Bible classes are on Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. in the Board Room. Other classes can be added as needed.
Fee: None
Purpose: To join together in fellowship for Bible Study and Catechism.
Activities: The Bible Study group sponsors the Paraklesis services on Wednesday Evenings and other prayer services during Lenten periods of Christmas and Easter.
"ROAD TO ORTHODOXY" INQUIRER/CONVERT CLASS

Participation open to: Those interested in converting to Orthodoxy and parishioners interested in furthering their knowledge of the Orthodox faith.
Meetings are held: As part of our Wednesday Nite Life Series there are thirteen classes conducted in two sessions, scheduled upon need, on Wednesday evenings at 7:15 p.m. Individual consultations may also be scheduled if the need arises.
Fee: None
Purpose: To prepare a candidate for conversion to the Orthodox faith and to further enhance the knowledge of our faith and spirituality of our parishioners.
Activities: An introduction to the Orthodox faith through presentations, readings, video presentations, and discussions along with a church tour.
"JOURNEY TO ONENESS" PRE-MARITAL SEMINAR

Participation: Required for all couples planning to be married at our Cathedral.
Seminars are held: Periodically throughout the year. Registration takes place by calling the Cathedral Office or by contacting Fr. Christos. Individual couple consultations may also be scheduled if the need arises.
Fee: None
Purpose: To prepare couples for marriage in the Orthodox Church.
Activity: Seminars consist of an explanation of various aspects of married life from Church to the relationship with each other. Emphasis is on making the Lord Jesus Christ the third party of their relationship. Sessions are about 1½ hours long.
