Assisted Listening Devices Now Available

We are pleased to announce the availability of Assisted Listening Devices (ALDs) for our parish community! These ALDs are amplifiers which bring sound directly into the ear via earphones. They separate the sounds, particularly speech, from background noise and improve what is known as the "speech to noise ratio". A limited number will be available from the Pangari in the Narthex during services on a first come, first served basis. To check out an ALD, please ask a Parish Council member who is volunteering in the Narthex and complete the check out log. You will be asked to leave your drivers license or a major credit card in our secured case in exchange for using the ALD. This is being done simply as a way to remind our parishioners to return the ALDs to the Pangari after usage and then retrieve their license or credit card.

Headphones, with disposable replacement covers, will be provided with the ALDs. Alternatively, and we recommend that you use your own personal headphones as these devices are equipped with a standard audio jack.

We are excited to improve the experience of the Divine Liturgy and all of our services for our parish family. Many of these valuable devices were made available through the generous donation of one of our parishioners. Thank you!
